Jennifer Worth MSW, LCSW, LSCSW has a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology (1999) from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and a Master of Social Work (2005) from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas. She is also an EMDRIA Certified therapist and Certified Daring Way facilitator.
Her practice focuses on Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The primary interventions she uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, EMDR 2.0, Flash Technique, and Bowen Family Systems Theory. Jennifer’s approach is informed by Dr. Brene Brown’s research. Jennifer believes in the brain-body connection and enjoys using this approach with clients. She trusts that each person enters treatment with coping and interpersonal skills. Jennifer works with clients to enhance their current skill set and provide additional skills for improved functioning in the future.
