Sadie Chandler, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2013) from Rockhurst University and a Master of Social Work (2017) from Missouri State University. Sadie is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Her primary interventions include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Sadie uses these interventions to serve clients with various conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and pre and postpartum issues.
Sadie sees clients through a strengths perspective meaning that she believes clients already have the skills it takes to overcome their biggest obstacles. She recognizes that people are resilient in their own ways and she enjoys assisting clients in identifying these skills and the strengths within themselves.
Sadie began treating clients in 2015 as a graduate level therapist with Missouri State University’s Counseling Center. After graduating in 2017, Sadie moved to Kansas City and began work at Compass Health Network as an outpatient therapist. It was during this time that Sadie became passionate about serving those who have experienced trauma. She is also trained in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) issues including Post Partum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD).
Sadie accepts MO and KS Medicare and United Healthcare, as well as private pay. Sadie offers in-person and teletherapy sessions Tuesdays-Fridays at our West Plaza clinic. Sadie will be out of the office on maternity leave from Dec. 22, 2022 - April 4, 2023. Please contact Stephani, our Client Care Coordinator, to schedule with Sadie for April 2023.
